Social media star Shabaz Ali showcased collections by Blackburn jewellery designer at this year's Brit Awards.

TikTok sensation Shabaz was wearing designs by Pugata, which is run Zak Patel.

Earlier Shabaz had handpicked several pieces from Pugata's collection, which he wore at the 44th annual Brit Awards at the O2 Arena in London.

Shabaz Ali, known as 'Shabaz Says' has more than 1.7 million fans on TikTok and more than 1.6m followers on Instagram.

At the Brit Awards, he rubbed shoulders with A-list celebrities such as Dua Lipa, Kylie Minogue, and Maya Jama, all while adorned in jewellery designed and loaned to him by the Batley-based company.

Pugata’s owner, Zak Patel, personally selected a layered diamond necklace and a nine-carat diamond bracelet for Shabaz.

The influencer confessed to feeling a tad overwhelmed by the 'elegance' of these custom-crafted pieces.

Taking to Instagram, Shabaz expressed his gratitude to the company that specialises in wedding accessories. He said : “Thank you Pugata for inviting me to wear your incredible jewellery. The pressure I felt wearing these!”

He added: “I also appreciate the trust you had in me, considering I was tempted to run away with them to the south of Spain.”

Shabaz also received a guided tour of the Pugata wedding and engagement ring boutique and showroom at the Batley Business and Technology Centre.

Pugata is run by Zak Patel who previously operated a newsagent in Preston New Road and then Blakey Moor, before making a name for himself as a designer of bespoke wedding and engagement rings.

Zak added: "The staff couldn’t help but admire his approachability, as he chatted with everyone and happily posed for pictures.

"Shabaz’s charm extends beyond the digital realm, leaving a lasting impression on the community."
